AGE OF CONAN

Before the current age of man began to record time. After the sinking of fabled Atlantis. Mankind was still a savage breed, only recently rid of the whip held by their serpentine and other worldly masters. Men were only beginning to learn the ways of proper civilization and law was held in place at the point of the sword. Wizards channeled the dark energies that flowed across the void from the deepest regions of space. Men ignorant but powerful. A mythic barbarian proved that intelligence, cunning, and strength could raise a lowly slave to the status of king --- if he could survive the journey through the forge that made him.
